A CICS batch transaction accesses CICS through the EXCI interface. The program that runs under CICS needs information from IMS. CICS sends an FMH5 across the LUTYPE62 link to IMS. VTAM rejects the request with sense code 10086011. This means that the LUW (Logical Unit of Work) is not valid.
