You use the CDBC transaction to disconnect CICS from DBCTL. But, the connection to DBCTL never disconnects. When you do an ORDERLY disconnection, the CDBC and CDBI transactions display message DFHDB8294I DBCTL orderly disconnect in progress. When you do an IMMEDIATE disconnection, the CDBC and CDBI transactions display message DFHDB8295I DBCTL immediate disconnect in progress.
