That is a spread! Is there a CICS on AS/400?
I'm doing CICS, IMS and MQ on z/OS. MQ used to include the Unix and NT installations but management decided to move that to the open systems group.

Invalid transcation
invalid transation @ sent by clients caused to closed socket. System IPL resolved the problem. EZY1315E message were displayed in CICS logs. My question, What exactly caused the problem, How to determine the cause...Is it really tran @ if so then what happened after IPL.

CICS sysprog poll.
I would say that we have no CICS guru here and that a few of us
touch base on CICS as need be in assistance with a 3rd party
vendor. I tend to be the main troubleshooter with the help
of many peers, the vendor, IBM and my base knowledge.
I also work on many other things, I am the main MVS sysprog, backup
DB2 DBA, SMPe installer, RACF backup, SQLServer dabller...you get
the picture a little bit of many things.

I support CICS, MVS, Omegamon CICS, Omegamon MVS, SAS, Syncsort, DoucText, JobScan, Harbor (backup open system files to the mainframe) Beta55, Control Products, FDR/ABR, OSA Cards using IOA, VPS/DRS.
Besides all of this I am now learning Unix. So far I have taken two classes at Sun Systems to learn Unix.
Our management has stated that the Mainframe is going away. We are replacing the main CICS application with and EPIC application.
